Dr. Robert Maxwell
2016
The Maxwell cup was named after Robert Barbee Maxwell, a distinguished Bando man from the First Generation of Bando Members. Back in the early 70's Sayaji Maxwell was one of the many fighters that showed the Martial Arts world that the Bando System may not be the biggest, well known system but it most certainly was a force not to be reckoned with.
The Maxwell Cup is an Award given away to the Most Outstanding Bando School during the Free Fighting competitions on Memorial Day weekend. The number of medals given out to the competitors are tallied and the school with the most wins takes home the coveted Maxwell Cup.
